4th of July Fun

We started our 4th of July celebration this year first with Patriotism at the Post in Fort Oglethorpe on the 3rd. My sister is in the orchestra that plays and the choir director at our church conducts the orchestra. My mom, my dad, my sisters, the boys, myself,and a big group from church all went. We had a blast and they had good fireworks afterwards. We couldn't have asked for a nicer evening. It was breezy and cool. The boys had fun running around, eating snow cones and kettle corn, and being boys. Wesley loved the music and spent the majority of the time pushing his wagon around in a big wide circle. Wesley loved the fireworks and was amazed by them. Max really enjoyed them this year. His most used word during the fireworks this year, "Awesome!"

The next evening we had both of our families and some friends over for a cookout and fireworks. We cooked a ton of food and the babies played. Most all the kids are 2 and under but Max plays with them well. They swam and played on Max's new "playground", as he calls it. The wagon got used a lot again. Aunt Shia ,aka Alicia my older sister, pulled Wesley, Neely, and Abby in the wagon around and around the yard. We had my husband and his cousin go by some fireworks and they came back with the redneck fireworks pack and let me tell you they were some redneck looking fireworks. We have already decided the women are going to do the fireworks purchasing next year. :) We had a great time. It is always nice to get together with family and friends and celebrate our Independence.

On another note, thank you all for your prayers, calls, and emails for my grandmother's passing. I appreciate them and so do my family. It is good to know we will see my Nanny again. I hope to get a post on here this week about her. I haven't found all the pictures I wanted to post. Thanks again!
