A Day at Disney Part Two

When we headed over to Mickey's Toontown Fair to see Mickey Mouse it was still drizzling rain so we went straight to Mickey's house. We passed Minnie's house but didn't go in. Mickey's house was so cute. There was Mickey's bedroom, complete with his closet full of Mickey suits and gloves, his living room, game room, and kitchen, which was being renovated by Donald and Goofy. In the back yard was Pluto's dog house, Mickey's vegetable garden, and garage. From there, you entered into a fair tent to wait in line to see Mickey and Minnie. It was really neat because we got to meet them all by ourselves without any other people around. They allowed you to take pictures and they took pictures, as well.

Max was so excited. He ran right up to Mickey and gave him a hug. Minnie of course hugged and kissed everyone. Minnie was very bossy, pointing out how all the pictures should be taken. My sister said, " I can't believe Minnie was that bossy without even saying a word!" It was the highlight of the day for Max and he still says that it was his favorite part. Wesley was, again, not scared and wanted to grad their noses. He still tries to grad them when he sees a picture of them.

It's Mickey's house!!!

Donald and Goofy's kitchen make-over.

Pluto's dog house.

Love the MouseKosh overalls!

Mickey's vegetable garden. They did have actual tomatoes growing in this garden.

Inside the tent, waiting for Mickey.

The whole crew with Mickey and Minnie!

Paw Paw's getting a kiss from Minnie.

I know this one is blurry but I think it's still too cute.

Max and Wesley with Mickey and Minnie.

He was so excited!

There's nothing better than a hug from Mickey Mouse!

It was still drizzling rain outside so we decided just to leave the park since we had no umbrellas or ponchos. The boys were both tired and we were too. On the way out Max saw the Tomorrowland Speedway and had to do that. Rex and Max did that while we tried to find a dry spot to wait in. Space Mountain was closed for renovations and that was about the only thing we wanted to do that we didn't get to do. We missed the parades and I know Max would have really enjoyed that since he loves parades. The walk back to the gate was miserable. It was raining the entire time and we all got soaked. Max decided on the way out that he wanted some Mickey Mouse ears so we stopped in the gift shop on Main Street before leaving. Thank goodness again for the baby carrier. It has a hood on it so I wore Wesley on the way out and he stayed pretty dry. The rest of us were pretty wet. Max had wanted to ride the water ferry to get to Magic Kingdom that morning but we were in a hurry so we decided to ride it on the way back to the parking lot. The boys enjoyed it and it was nice just to sit down for a while.

Sunset at Disney.

Max was dancing on the ferry ride.

This sums it up. Max soaked, not wanting his pictured made, Wesley crying, and dad smiling.

Our day was done and we were exhausted. It was an awesome day and I can't wait to go back. We may try to do 2 days next year since it will be the last year before Max starts school. It was a very long day but well worth the effort it took to go. The boys did great and it was a very memorable day for us all.
